Plain stupidity.
That’s just magnificently dumb. How could they have missed to inform the public about this?
“What? Low flying aircraft over New York city? NAAAAAAAH don’t need to tell the public. What? Remind them of 9/11? Whatever lol I don’t care, late April fools joke haha.” Must have been some douche’s last words before he got fired.
I’m not even that much of a fan of the US, even less so regarding NYC *coughIBarttripcough* but this is just disgusting. This would be like getting a bunch of people to dress up as german soldiers during Hitlers reign, with the swastika and everything, and then taking a walk right down Poland’s busiest street, without telling people that it’s fake.
