morning shower

What I really like to do is get up in the morning and take my morning shower.

I get the water nice and hot, let my body get used to it. I feel my skin flush red. Shampoo my hair. Then I turn the water really cold. My mind goes blank from the icy water. My heartbeat rockets. Make a mental note of where the knob is. Then I slowly turn it back and get it as hot as I can. Wash rest of body. Now cold water again but a little colder this time. It’s like the rush you get in your mouth from cracking the sugar coating of a piece of mint chewing gum, but all over your body. 

Repeat about 3-4 times cuz it feels so damn good. Each time getting it a little colder. Finish it off cold. 

Exit shower feeling alive and awesome.
